Friston Open Gardens 2019

Enjoy a leisurely and sociable walk through the picturesque village of Friston visiting up to 20 gardens.
Park on Friston Village Green where you can purchase tickets for £5 per person which allow admission to all of the gardens. The event is in aid of the Church.

There is an incredible diversity of small but perfectly formed, large, elegant, mature and quirky gardens (just like the owners!) for you to enjoy.

From the village green, where you can park and buy tickets, it is a short walk to the Village Hall where you can enjoy light lunches and afternoon teas.

Opposite the Village Hall is the church and churchyard standing proud over the village. The Friston community are raising awareness of the 30+acres of countryside which would be destroyed by the massive substations proposed by National Grid and ScottishPower Renewables if they are granted permission.

There are many new gardens opening this year along with the regular 'classics'. Some gardens are hidden from view along footpaths and a secret cottage offers a glass of sparkling wine to help you on your way home!
Do please come and visit the village!

The gardens open from 11.30am to 5.30pm (last ticket sold 4.15pm).
