Halesworth Midsummer Market

Local producer/artisan market

Halesworth is celebrating Midsummers Day by holding its very first Midsummer Market on Saturday 24th June. The market will take place in the historic Market Place and will showcase local producers and artisans.

The historic Market Place in Halesworth will be buzzing as it would have been in Medieval times.

Markets have been held there since the 13th Century and Midsummers Day would certainly have been celebrated.

The all new Midsummers Market in Halesworth is aimed at all ages and tastes. The market will showcase many local food & drink producers, there will be street food and stalls selling textiles, African crafts, plants/garden pieces, vintage tools, cut flowers, scarves & accessories and much more.

The Fritton Owl Sanctuary will be bringing along some of their owls and be on hand to talk about what they do and there will also be face painting for the children.

The Market will run from 9:30- 3:30 and is disabled, child and dog-friendly.

On top of the market Halesworth has much to offer the visitors with seven antique and vintage shops, many other independent retailers and some great food and drink establishments.
