Half Day Workshop – Fun with Abstracts
Join us for a fun, relaxed 2½-hour mixed media workshop where curiosity is far more important than artistic experience. We’ll experiment with shapes, colours, textures and exciting mark-making tools to create a collection of beautiful miniature abstract paintings.
Learn simple ways to transform everyday observations into expressive abstract art. Instead of worrying about painting things “correctly”, you’ll explore techniques where the paint, ink and tools help guide the creative process.Join this special abstract workshop for just £35 per person. Have fun painting with a credit card, making expressive marks with feathers , experimenting with watercolour, acrylics and inks, and trying playful techniques that often produce surprising and beautiful results.
By the end of the session you’ll have a series of unique mini abstract artworks that can be displayed as a collection, turned into greetings cards, framed as tiny originals, or made into a charming concertina book.
