The TestostaTones bring the final chapter of their 1950s Doo-Wop trilogy, Let’s Go to the Hop, to the Seagull Theatre. After two popular outings, the group return with a celebration of the golden era, transporting audiences back with slick harmonies, sharp suits and plenty of nostalgia from the 1950s music.
After two popular outings with The Story of Doo-Wop and Shake, Rattle and Roll, the group return with the final instalment of their ‘50s theatre show trilogy to the Seagull Theatre on Thursday 4th June. 'Let’s Go to the Hop' continues the celebration of the golden era of vocal harmony groups, transporting audiences back to the 1950s and 60s when Doo-Wop helped shape the sound of early rock ’n’ roll. Expect slick harmonies, sharp suits and plenty of nostalgia as the group perform some of the most iconic hits of the period.
The TestostaTones have sung for the Queen, Olly Murs and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and have appeared in several live performances on BBC Radio 2. Their show has been described as the missing song from the soundtrack of a Martin Scorsese movie. Audiences can look forward to timeless hits from legends including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Bill Haley & His Comets, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Ray Charles and many more a feel-good night of music guaranteed to get toes tapping and everyone singing along.
