Norfolk Mini Owners Club visit the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum

Clasic and Modern Minis belonging to the Norfolk Mini Owners Club visit NASAM

The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum is pleased to be able to host an exciting visit from our friends at the Norfolk Mini Owners Club who will be holding one of their first outings of the 2024 season.

The Club is mostly made up of the classic variety of the best loved small car in the world, but welcomes Minis - and their owners, of all ages, flavours and varieties. The Club has been running for fully 33 years, making it one of the oldest established clubs in the area. Their own Shows and Mini Runs have been used to generate thousands of pounds for local charities.

The Museum site will be fully open as usual from 10am through to 4pm on the day, with all the aircraft, cockpits and equipment displays, the 446th, Air Sea Rescue, Bomber Command museum all open and Museum Volunteers on hand to explain the thousands of aviation related items that make up the Museum Collection. This will be the first opportunity to see inside the newly refurbished Royal Observer Corps building – where a lot of love and attention has been spent over the winter months to very good effect.

The NAAFI cafe will be open for the serious business of tea (or coffee) and cake, and the shop will be offering a wide range of aviation related goodies to help you make the most of your day. If you really want to go to town on lunch then why not try the Buck Inn situated just outside the Museum gates - give them a ring on 01986 896883 and book your table!

Entrance to the Museum, and parking when you arrive, are all free - but donations are appreciated to help with the never ending maintenance of all the exhibits and to help us keep the Museum growing.
