Pen & Wash Nature Study Workshop with Brenda Keable at RSPB Minsmere
Join RSPB Minsmere for a relaxing and creative one day art workshop exploring the beautiful technique of pen and wash, led by local artist Brenda Keable.
During the morning session, Brenda will guide you through creating an expressive pen sketch inspired by local wildlife (from Birds to Mammals) while introducing techniques for working confidently with ink, including linework, shading, and texture. In the afternoon, you’ll learn how to apply delicate watercolour washes to bring your sketch to life, creating a finished artwork to take home.
Feel free to bring along a favourite wildlife photograph for inspiration.
All skill levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to more experienced artists.

You’re welcome to bring your own waterproof pens, watercolours, and brushes if you prefer. Alternatively, all materials will be provided.
