After visiting the town with The Story of Doo-Wop in May 2025, vocal group The TestostaTones are back at The Seagull Theatre with their next show, Shake, Rattle & Roll. Where their first production explored the smooth, soulful harmonies of early 1950s street-corner quartets and church groups, this sequel celebrates the explosion that came next: the birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Audiences will be transported to the early days of the rock era, when pioneers such as Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and the Comets, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis changed the face of popular music forever. These weren’t just songs—they were a cultural revolution: bold, thrilling, and for some, even scandalous.

Presented from the ‘studio’ of your host and DJ Chuck Anderson, Shake, Rattle & Roll is packed with electrifying performances of iconic hits. Expect to hear Rock Around the Clock, Blue Suede Shoes, Johnny B. Goode, Jailhouse Rock, Great Balls of Fire, Hound Dog and many more.

With their trademark harmonies, dynamic stage presence and a résumé that includes performing for the Queen and Olly Murs, and appearances on BBC Radio 2, The TestostaTones promise a night of infectious energy, nostalgia, and sheer rock ‘n’ roll joy.
