Southwold Arts Festival

A celebration of the arts for all the family over the May Bank Holiday weekend 1st - 3rd May in St Edmund's Church and the Southwold Arts Centre.

Friday 1st May gives young musicians, the stars of the future, the opportunity to perform in St Edmund's Church. In the evening, at Southwold Arts Centre, enjoy a moving solo performance of The Beloved Son, exploring the life of Henri Nouwen.

On Saturday morning join Chris Ingham at the Arts Centre for his talk The Beatles & Me, with music, video and personal experiences. In the evening dance in the aisles to Grammy nominated and double Ivor Novello award winning Chris Difford (founder and songwriter of Squeeze) and the Derek Nash Band, who will play some of the most enduring and best loved songs of our time.

On Sunday at 3pm bring the family to Once Upon A Tune, in St Edmund’s Church, and enjoy an afternoon of music and art – under 12s are free. Finally, on Sunday night Maureen Lipman and Friends reprise their West End show at the Arts Centre.
