Voxcetera Chamber Choir: Where'er You Walk

Voxcetera chamber choir returns to Suffolk for an evening of uplifting choral music at the glorious Holy Trinity Church, Blythburgh - the "Cathedral of the Marshes".

Including music by Handel, Mozart, Tallis, Byrd, Fauré and Britten, and popular contemporary composers including Sir James MacMillan.

The first half of this concert celebrates beautiful sacred music from the English renaissance to the present day. The second half features secular songs on a theme of journeys and travel, including choral arrangements of folk and pop and the haunting “The Long Road” by Latvian composer Eriks Ešenvalds.

Founded in 2009 and based in London, Voxcetera has performed at prestigious venues in the capital, across the UK and overseas. The choir is conducted by Jane Hopkins and will be joined by the accomplished Paul Ayres on piano and organ.
