As dusk descends on a beautiful local heath, the curious, other-worldly ‘churring’ song of the Nightjar drifts over the heather. It’s a truly magical experience, enhanced still further perhaps by glimpses of the charismatic creatures themselves.
Uncover Your Wild Side! Our 'Froize Uncovered' year-round nature walks take you exploring around the wilds of Suffolk, in search of the many creatures that reside here, or are simply passing through. While the focus is primarily on birds, our knowledgable and experienced guides will also share their fascinating insights into the enthralling and delicate eco-systems that sustain them.
As well as a full morning (or evening in this case!) in the countryside, you will also enjoy a fabulous two-course lunch or supper.
These walks are the perfect antidote to our busy and often hectic lives and are open to all, no matter how experienced you are with a pair of binoculars! As well as getting close to nature, you will meet like minded people and maybe even make a new friend or two.
