The Priory

Butley Priory offers an enchanting setting for weddings. The 13th century, grade 1 listed Priory is the former gatehouse to an Augustinian monastery. Two hours from London, it is peacefully situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to Suffolk's coast, surrounded by woodland and forest. This architectural gem is described by Vogue as "one of the most romantic houses in England".

The Great Hall with its high vaulted ceilings can seat up to 100 guests for your wedding ceremony and 80 guests for your wedding breakfast, with room for larger weddings in a marquee on the front lawn. Accommodation for 11 guests including the wedding suite and use of the beautiful secluded garden and grounds. Additional accommodation is available at Butley Priory Cottage (sleeps 6) & Butley Abbey Farmhouse (sleeps 24).
