Fire and Feast Suffolk Campsite

If you love good food, woodfires and getting away from it all, the Fire and Feast Suffolk campsite is the place for you. With big Suffolk skies above and a backdrop of birdsong and meadow flowers rustling in the breeze, the family farm is just the place for a long lazy weekend or a family holiday making memories around the campfire.

Visitors say that once they arrive here the stress of the week just melts away. The secluded campsite is intentionally small to provide all the space you need to relax and the large meadow pitches are cut into long grass to create further privacy.

A well equipped camping barn provides high quality facilities and two well equipped pre-pitched Safari Tents offer an alternative to bringing your own equipment. Each of the ten pitches is equipped with a picnic bench and Roadii woodfire grill.

The site is great for families, family groups, couples and small adult groups wanting a get away from it all weekend in the countryside near to the coast, and if you want to experiment with woodfire cooking you will be able to indulge your passion here.

The site is for tents only and is car free, but understand that there can be exceptional reasons when a family group may wish to include someone who needs to stay in a small camper van. If you want to discuss whether this may be possible please get in contact. The farm is home to free range poultry, so dogs or other pets are not allowed as part of a campsite booking.

Meadow Camping Pitches

8 tent pitches, generously sized and well spaced, each equipped with a Roadii fire bowl, grill and tripod and a locally made picnic table/bench offer visitors who want to bring their own tents great additional facilities. No additional charges for gazebos or pup tents. If it fits on the pitch you can bring it. Although a car free site, here is one pitch that can accommodate a small camper van if necessary - please email or phone directly to enquire.

Pre-Pitched Tents

2 pre pitched South African Safari Tents, designed to withstand the heat and heavy rains of South Africa, with a roomy bedroom with tub groundsheet and sleep in dark canvas, sleeping 4 adults in comfort; a central enclosed living area; and a covered awning area. Tents are equipped with Exped Megamat camping mattresses, lighting, storage space, basic cooking equipment; a Roadii fire bowl, grill, tripod, cooking pot and skillet, (complimentary first basket of logs included) and a picnic table/bench. Guests need to bring own crockery and cutlery and sleeping bags / towels.

Campers Facilities

Guests love the huge camping barn with space to sit and read, eat together, play games or dry out, plus plenty of electric sockets, fridge and freezer space. Toilets and showers are all located in the campers barn in purpose built garden sheds. There are four individual flush toilets with basin, mirror and underfloor heating and three roomy showers with plenty of hot water. An outdoor campers' kitchen provides washing up facilities.

The Fire and Feast Gardens

The Herb Garden with outdoor seating is open for campers to enjoy - and snip fresh herbs to enhance your own fire cooking creations; and the onsite Kitchen Garden provides fresh produce.

The Fire and Feast Tipi

The Fire and Feast tipi offers an onsite dining option with Saturday night suppers and a Sunday brunch café. See the website for further details. Advance booking for Saturday night supper in the tipi is essential. The Sunday Café does not need to be booked unless a table of 7 or more.

If you fancy stretching your legs, the network of re-wilded tracks and fields across the farm link to local footpaths, providing country walks for little legs or keen hikers, and miles of rural lanes are perfect for cycling.
