A contemporary bed and breakfast set in five acres of tranquil garden and woodland

Six years ago Bruce and David built Five Acre Barn - an award winning cedar shingle guest wing (voted by RIBA as one of the top 50 buildings in 2018) attached to a nineteenth century barn, with five bright, 'Scandi' rooms - each with their own sitting room, bathroom and access to the garden. Room Five is fully accessible.

Children over 12 are welcome and the accommodation is dog-friendly.

With the Suffolk coast on your doorstep you have much to tempt you out and about. If however, you do you just want to relax 'at home' then you can indulge yourself with a spa treatment, hang out by the wood burner in the Barn, play a game of chess or chat with new found friends. If you are around in the afternoon enjoy complimentary tea and home baked goodies.

Breakfast is a highlight (highly rated by Jay Rayner, no less), and the barn is only five minutes away from great local restaurants. You should also be able to find your favourite tipple from the well-stocked 'Honesty' bar .

The whole property is available to hire - it's the perfect place for a family get together, small corporate event or party. Rates depend on the time of year and as Five Acre Barn is primarily a B&B it's a good idea to book well in advance!
