Sotterley Estate

Wood Farm is in Brampton on the Edge of the Estate, with wonderful walks and a remote location. Herds of deer are often seen passing by, and even a bald eagle makes a regular appearance as he takes his daily exercise in the neighbouring field!

Wood Farm Stables is a three-bedroom property, sleeping eight; each bedroom has an en-suite, making it perfect for group bookings. There is a large open-plan kitchen and dining area and a cosy lounge room with a wood-fired burner. The Stables has a large enclosed yard, perfect for all the family, including any four-legged friends! A BBQ is provided, perfect for summer gatherings, and there is also a wood-fired hot tub which is fun to use all year round. There are some wonderful restaurants and pubs nearby to ensure you get your culinary fix!

Wood Farm Dairy is a fully self-contained one-bedroom cottage, sleeps two, independent of The Stables, also with a large enclosed yard perfect for any pets who want to join you on holiday. It has a private garden with a 2-person hot tub! 

1 & 2 Brook Cottages in the Sotterley Village. A pretty semi-detached cottage, sleeping 4 (No 1) and 6 people (No 2). The cottages are dog friendly and have safe, enclosed gardens. The cottage is an attractive listed building, with quaint features and lots of character, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

East Lodge is a unique two-bedroom, single-storey thatched cottage, hidden down a private driveway amongst mature woodland. East Lodge is one of four gatehouses that surround Sotterley Park. Just a 10-15 minute drive to Southwold and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. 

As well as being a short drive from the sandy dunes of the Suffolk coast, we have other opportunities close by for great days out, such as crabbing at Walberswick, Africa Alive, Adnams Brewery tours, Old Hall Farm cafe and Maize Maze, Pleasurewood Hills, The Beccles Lido (outdoor swimming pool with inflatable sessions), boat hire and paddle boarding on the Norfolk Broads, great shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways in Beccles and Southwold and slightly further afield you have Aldeburgh, Thorpeness boating and Framlingham and Orford Castles.
