Sunnyside Campsite

Sunnyside Campsite is small, family run farm site that offers a very warm welcome. Relaxed and rustic with a ‘back to basics’ vibe. 

A fantastic base for walkers, cyclists, families, and those who love nature, the site is located in the quiet village of Westhall, the campsite is surrounded by fields and big skies, and the local community pub just a 5 min stroll away. 

This is perfect rural location with easy access to the beautiful coast and the Waveney Valley, Broads, RSPB Minsmere and the Suffolk Coast National Landscape - all within 10 miles from here. The nearest town of Halesworth is 4 miles. 

There are 10 generously sized, non electric pitches in a secluded grassy meadow, with one electric hook-up and a pre-erected tent available for hire (for x2 persons).

Basic facilities include 2 toilets and a family sized shower room (shower is operated by £1 coin). Guests have free access to a fridge/freezer, kettle & electric sockets, an outside washing up area, water tap & hose, recycling system, 4G network. Disposal is for eco toilet waste only (compatible with a septic tank system). 

The on-site honesty store sells fresh farm eggs, local produce, essentials, logs and charcoal, plus complimentary teas, coffee and squash. Homemade cake is available on Saturday afternoons and breakfast baps on Sunday mornings, with a monthly pizza night and communal campfire exclusive to campsite guests and friends.

The site allows mixed accommodation including tents, camper vans and single axel caravans. Pitches can also accommodate one vehicle alongside. Extra parking and dry storage (for bicycles) can be provided on request. Dogs on leads and campfires are permitted (fire pits may be hired on arrival from the store). 

All pitch prices include two people per night, with an extra charge for any additional persons (up to x5 people per pitch) and there is a flat fee for dogs (max 2 dogs per pitch). We can accommodate small groups (up to 4 pitches) or the whole site can be booked out exclusively, subject to availability.

Cycle Friendly

Sunnyside Campsite is small & quiet site, that welcomes cyclists for 1 night stays. There is a £1 coin operated shower, an on site honesty shop for basic foodstuffs, complimentary teas/coffee, a fridge/freezer, electric kettle, free charging points and dry storage for bikes. A laundry wash service is available on request.

Bike hire is also available from Southwold Cycle Hire who will deliver & collect to the site.

Cycle Routes

The site is situated conveniently close to the National Cycle Route 1 and The Wolf Way. Or travel & explore the area by train on the Anglia Line from Brampton Station, which less than 2 miles away.
