Golf Course

Thorpeness is a classic British heathland designed by five-time Open Champion and legendary golf course architect James Braid. This award-winning Par 70, 18 hole, challenging 6,421-yard course will test golfers of all abilities.

Ogilvie's grill house restaurant & Braid's Bar

Ogilvie’s is the spectacular ‘Tee View’ restaurant at Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel, with huge windows panning around, it makes for a beautiful setting to dine, for both golfers and non-golfers alike. The restaurant is open all day and serves a vast selection of Grill House classics providing guests with fantastic dishes. Food is also available throughout the day in Braid's Bar, and out in the Meare Garden during the warmer months. The bar serves a selection of beers, spirits and wines.

Jigger's Miniature Golf & Meareside Garden

Jigger's was designed to bring Thorpeness' history of being a fairy tale, playground village to life. The 9 hole miniature golf course situated on the banks of Thorpeness Meare, overlooked by the Meareside gardens, is in the ideal spot for the whole family to enjoy.
