Wardley Hill Campsite

Close to the Suffolk Coast and on the edge of the Norfolk Broads the site is perfectly situated for your East Anglian getaway.

Wild flowers and grass are left to grow to encourage butterflies and bees, although there is still plenty of space to throw a frisbee or perhaps have a game of rounders. The six-acre site has some woodland, a recreation field, three seasonal ponds, and a stream.

The car-free camping field is exclusively for tents while small campervans are also welcome to stay in their own area.

Facilities on site offer an authentic back-to-basics camping experience with clean composting toilets for guests to use and hot showers. Campfires are encouraged in fire drums and dogs on leads are welcome.

New For 2024 is the Tiny House! We are particularly pleased  with this one. This two storey adult only biomimetic designed off grid cabin has everything you need for a quick weekend away or a longer retreat. 

Upstairs there is a king sized bed with uninterrupted views south across Horse paddocks, space to store your luggage and several usb and usb c charging ports.

Downstairs a hand built kitchen houses a full size sink with hot and cold water, induction hob and 50 litre fridge with ice compartment. Crockery, cutlery, mugs, cooking utensils and pans are all provided. A lounge area with 2 comfortable leather chairs surrounding a wood burning stove with cooking plate.

The bathroom which is accessed via an internal sliding door has a small sink, smell free modern compost toilet and full sized shower.

All lighting, usb & usb c ports which can charge a laptop are powered by stored electricity from the sun. Should you want it there is free wifi inside.

Outside in your private garden is a swing seat, dining table & chairs, fire pit and grill for cooking.

A unique camping or glamping experience for couples and families and the dog is welcome too!

Cycle Friendly

Groups of up to 4 cyclists are welcome to camp at any time without needing to book and can stay for just one night if required, the site is also happy to charge known brand e bike batteries.

There are bike racks available and an undercover area to escape the rain and work on bike maintenance.
