Time Team Live at Sutton Hoo
See Time Team return for a second year of their exciting research project at Sutton Hoo.
Following geophysical surveys that took place in 2021 and 2022 and an excavation in 2024, Time Team will be returning to Sutton Hoo for another excavation in Garden Field in 2025!The excavation activity can be viewed through the fencing, plus you can discover more about the archaeology of Sutton Hoo at the engagement stand where you can handle real archaeological finds from other sites.
Head over to Tranmer House to see some of the finds being processed and recorded in the Discovery Room.
Excavation will commence on 19 May, finishing on 13 June.
As this is a live archaeological excavation this timetable is subject to change. Excavation work will be taking place Tuesday - Saturday each week. Finds Processing will also be taking place on these days with the exception of 19 and 31 May.
