First Light Festival 2024

First Light Festival returns to the golden sands and lush gardens of Lowestoft’s South Beach across the solstice weekend, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2024. T

The festival marks the first sunrise of midsummer in the UK’s most easterly town with a huge, free programme of music, dance, theatre, science, wellbeing, comedy, sports, community activities and unique events. Gather on the water’s edge and watch live performance as the sun breaks over the horizon. Camp amongst the sand dunes under a sky full of stars. Sink your feet into the sand and dance under the shimmering midsummer sun to new music from across the globe, and down the road.
