Sizewell B Visitors Centre

Sizewell B is the only PWR in the UK. Pay a visit to the visitor centre and discover how Sizewell has been producing low carbon electricity since 1995. You can also book a place on an escorted plant tour and see for yourself how a power station works.

Visitor information: The interactive visitor centre exhibition is open to all ages without prior arrangement and explains how EDF safely produces electricity at Sizewell B power station.

By prior arrangement you can take part in a walking tour of the station. Included in the tour are the turbine hall and the cooling water system. Please allow 3 hours for the tour experience. The minimum age for the pre-booked tour is 11 years. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

All tour participants over the age of 16 must be able to confirm their Identity with a recognised means of photographic ID e.g. current passport. Please note there are no refreshment facilities at the visitors centre.

Accessibility: If you have mobility needs, please contact the Visitor Centre team who will be able to advise you about site accessibility.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday: 9am – 4pm, weekends and bank holidays by prior arrangement.
