Sunrise Film Festival is a national film festival that makes proudly showcases under represented and upcoming independent short films in Lowestoft annually.

Back for 2024, the Sunrise Film Festival is bigger and bolder than ever with 124 short films screening across the four days.

Selected from this year's record breaking festival competition entries, along with special outdoor cinema screenings along with Q&As, Talks + so much more.

You can expect family friendly screenings, our ever popular micro short movies and a wide range of witty, comedic, impactful and relatable stories to the more experimental take on filmmaking.

Taking place from 1-4 August 2024, SFF celebrates the very best undiscovered and upcoming independent short films.
