Close Encounters with Minibeasts

Join Minsmere's friendly and knowledgeable guides on this family event as they provide you with information about some of our smaller residents, before taking a walk on the reserve.

You will begin in the Discovery Centre where the guides will talk you through the reptile residents here at Minsmere and where to find them, with some family friendly activities to help you identify who is who!

Following the experts talk it will be time to take a walk!

You will take a short walk to visit some of the reptiles typical hiding places away from the main visitor trails. Perhaps you’ll find some of the amphibians or small mammals hiding there too!

In the event of bad weather, this event will still go ahead but the walk will be replaced with additional activities in the Discovery Centre.

Each ticket includes one accompanying adult free. This event is aimed at Children from 6 to 11 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Usual reserve entry fees apply for any other non-members adults.

Please report to the Visitor Centre on arrival and allow at least five minutes to walk to the Discovery Centre.
