This course is for people that have a website and know that they should be looking at Google Analytics. However, they may look at the overview page and feel unsure where to go next. The emphasis will be looking at data more relevant to tourism and hospitality.
You don’t have to be a Marketing Director or a geeky number cruncher to get useful information out of Google Analytics. Several clients are amazed at the information that I have on their web audiences, it is there for them to see but they don’t know where to look.
If you can already tell me where your online visitors are based, you know what pages they are looking at most, you know the frequently used search terms and understand what your behaviour flow charts are telling you, then you may already know more than most, if you understand what you need to do with the information you are ahead of the game.
If you want to do the above and more, and for just £20 for the Suffolk Coast DMO members, you will be happy. (non members please contact directly for ticket prices) You will also be able to tell me how many visitors to your site are male/female, their age, the city they were in. Whether they came from search or social and so much more.
For most people the best way of learning is to do something, whilst being told. In an ideal world you will come along with a laptop and follow through the different stages on your own sites. (clearly you will need to have the coding for analytics on your site beforehand) If you haven’t got Google Analytics set up please do it today even if you don’t book. If you don’t have a machine you can follow through with me on the screen.
Relaxed, with a patient approach the aim is to guide you through the sections that will be most used in everyday circumstances.
Please note that in this session we are not analysing your own site data, you are finding out where to find it. You should be leaving the course confident that (with supplied notes) you can go back to your workplace and find the information yourself – and know what to do with it.
This informative 3 hour workshop is £27.50. If you are a DMO member you can take advantage of an exclusive discount of £7, making the workshop just £20!
