Jimmy's Farm Weddings

Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park is a truly unique venue, tucked away down a small single-track lane, only four miles from Ipswich and with close links to the A12 and A14. The couple and their guests can only feel a sense of calmness and tranquillity on their arrival, with peacocks and guinea fowl wandering freely.

The Haybarn, overlooking 'Caela's Courtyard' is a comfortable and welcoming environment for the bride (or groom) to get ready. There is plenty of space for their hair and make-up artists, with additional space to invite their closest friends and family to get ready too. Complimentary tea, coffee, pastries, fresh fruit, and a bottle of prosecco (or beers) await their arrival. 

As guests arrive, they are directed under the clematis arch into the beautiful Celebration Tent, which is adorned inside and out with festoon lighting. The private gardens and surrounding fields make you feel you are a world away from day-to-day life, peek over the fence and you might catch a glimpse of the zebra or donkeys.

Along with the festoon lighting, the Celebration Tent is decorated with simple but effective hessian bunting, allowing this versatile space to be easily tailored or dressed to suit the personality of the couple or a specific theme. 

After the Ceremony, everyone enjoys Reception Drinks in the private gardens, a perfect place for photographs too. Followed by an exclusive visit to the Wildlife Park to feed the animals and interact with some of the 100 rare breeds and exotic species. The experienced Rangers are on hand to answer any questions, and help guests get the most out of their experience. The Adventure Playground gives the opportunity for guests to be 'kids' again, with a chance to have a go on the huge bouncy pillow.

The Barn Restaurant is the location for the Wedding Breakfast. A sympathetically restored 300-year-old converted Barn which, with several possible layouts, ensures like the Celebration Tent, the space can be tailored to each couple's wishes.

Food wise, there is a variety of options for the Wedding Breakfast to suit any couple's desires; a relaxed two course meal featuring Jimmy's Sausage & Mash, a more refined three course meal including the renowned Dexter Roast Beef, or delicious Barbecue Platters, which can be served as a buffet, group platters or individually plated.The Head Chef can cater for any request, even a full vegetarian Wedding Breakfast.
