Valentine stargazing at RSPB Minsmere

For something a little different, spend Valentine’s evening under the stars at RSPB Minsmere. This special event invites lovers, friends or anyone who enjoys the night sky to join the Minsmere team alongside astronomers from DASH Astronomical Society for an evening of stargazing, with the chance to observe distant galaxies, nebulae and planets through a range of telescopes.
Experts will be on hand throughout the evening to answer questions, and in the event of cloudy skies there will be audio visual talks exploring the night sky instead. The event takes place close to the visitor centre, so you can make a full evening of it; with yummy food and drink available to purchase from the café including soup, bacon rolls, scones and cakes. There is also the option to buy a bottle of fizz to mark the occasion. So, wrap up warm, bring a blanket and maybe even a hot water bottle and take a moment to gaze upwards.
