Escape the Everyday

With freedom to explore, you can enjoy a holiday of discovery with unique experiences, quirky places to stay, days out off the beaten track and ways to treat yourself; escape to places you've dreamt of and plan your UK break to The Suffolk Coast.

Discovery

TTDA - Pakefield Riding School

We understand that you're craving to experience something new, so for a holiday of discovery, look no further than The Suffolk Coast.

With 50 miles of coast, you can spend a day out at sea on board a historic sailing boat, or hire your own and meander down the river on the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads. Wake up early and enjoy an early morning horse ride along the beach or hop on your bike and cycle one of the many road and off-road routes along country lanes and forest tracks.

Here you can get up close to some of the UK's rare wildlife and birdlife with a guided walk or 4x4 safari, and stay in a nature retreat complete with wildlife hide for late night sightings. Hop on board one of the foot ferries of The Suffolk Coast looking out for seals, cormorants and kittiwakes and learn how to capture it all on camera with a photography workshop.

Visit independent shops, boutiques, cafes and delis in a market or seaside town or discover The Suffolk Coast's fascinating myths, legends and stories with a visit to a historic site or museum.

Freedom to Explore

A mecca for walkers and cyclists, there are routes to suit all levels of explorer - from pub to pub walks and wildlife trails to long rambles along coastal paths and hikes through forest and heath.

If you're in need of a digital detox, then stay off-grid at a glamping and camping sites - rest your head in an airstream trailer, an authentic gypsy caravan, a luxury lotus belle tent or an authentic cob roundhouse. If you're craving somewhere to get away from it all and call your own for the week, opt for a fisherman's cottage, a coastal villa a stone's throw from the sea, a country hall surrounded by your own grounds or a house in the clouds with panoramic views of the Suffolk coast and countryside.
